Git Along Little Dogies
A lilting pentatonic melody that sounds beautiful with open fifths played on barred instruments. Great for teaching the solfege syllable “low sol” along with the dotted-eighth-sixteenth rhythm pattern in the context of 6/8 meter. The song also works well with grades 3-6.
