Piccolomini

This very silly song actually has some scientific educational merit: There is a crater on the moon named "Piccolomini" after the 16th c. Italian philosopher and astronomer Alessandro Piccolomini! So as ridiculous as the song is, it may help your students remember the name of a crater on the moon. . .or at least the concept that the moon has craters. Recommended for grades 4-6.
